Teachings and meditations from the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
This inspiring book teaches the Buddhist way of loving kindness. It explains simply and clearly how to meditate on eight special verses that comprise one of Buddhism’s best-loved teachings, Eight Verses of Training the Mind. Originally composed by the great Tibetan teacher, Geshe Langri Tangpa, these verses show how we can transform all of life’s situations into valuable spiritual insights.
Kadampa Teacher Allison Earl will teach these classes, showing how you can use this timeless wisdom to find meaning and lasting happiness in your modern, day-to-day life.
Suitable for everyone, these drop-in classes include a teaching, two guided meditations and an opportunity to ask questions. You are welcome to drop in to just one class, or attend several as a series.
