Fearless Wisdom
Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Green Tara
Cost: $90 | Members: $60
There is so much uncertainty in our life, in our careers, in our relationships perhaps, with our health and in our world. So it is not surprising that we may feel anxious from time to time. But is there a different way of looking at life? Do we have the potential to break free from this anxiety and embrace life and its uncertainty more fully? We do.
Arya Tara, also called the Great Liberator, is very swift in helping and protecting us, pacifying all sickness, poverty, fighting and quarreling. She is the embodiment of the fearless and liberating wisdom of all the Buddhas. Gen Sanden will grant the empowerment of Green Tara and guide us into this profound meditation practice that can liberate us from all sorrow and anxiety. It empowers us to let go of our limited, repetitive ways of thinking about ourself and about the situations we find ourself in. This method shows us how, through the incredible power of visualization, we can identify more and more with our pure potential.
Following the empowerment and commentary, join us in retreat to Immerse yourself in Tara’s inspiring blessings and leave feeling hopeful and transformed.
During this retreat we will be praying to Buddha Tara, a female enlightened being, for peace in our troubled world. These prayers, consisting of praises and requests to Tara, are approximately one-hour in length and are chanted every 4 hours for a period of 24 hours. They are very powerful because they are Sutra, the actual words of Buddha.
You can attend one or two sessions, or the entire retreat and stay for a concluding community lunch on Sunday. Everyone is welcome!
